Dr. Soma Roy is an eye surgeon practicing in the Durg-Bhilai-Rajnandgaon area district for the past 20 years. She has completed her superspecialization in Glaucoma and Cataract and has been dedicated to serving the people of Chhattisgarh.​Key Contributions & Achievements:

Community Outreach: She has conducted hundreds of eye camps and performed charity surgeries, even in very remote areas of Chhattisgarh like Manpur, Mohala, and Bhanupratappur.
​Research & Academic Excellence: She has presented research papers at the state and national levels. She was awarded Gold Medals for her research work in Cataract, Glaucoma, and Community Ophthalmology by the Chhattisgarh State Ophthalmological Society.

Leadership Roles: She is actively involved in leadership programs for the Chhattisgarh State Ophthalmological Society (CSOS).
